Cute little bunny ears that can go along with the song "sleeping bunnies"
Craft paper in white and pink, stapler and glue.
Cut out bunny ear shapes in white as well as in pink only slightly smaller. Have the child glue the pink to on the white, and staple or glue onto the headband.
Done - now for the fun part.
Have the children huddle in a ball as a 'sleeping bunny'... and sing the song...
See the sleeping bunnies,
sleeping till it's noon,
shall we wake them with this merry tune....
oh so still...
are they ill?...
...
...
wake up little bunnies hop, hop, hop,
wake up little bunnies hop and .... stop!
When you start the verse 'wake up'... the children all get up and start hopping around.
Be prepared to do this song many times - they all love it!

Staple safety
I staple the headband together with the smooth part of the staple on the inside so that it does not scratch the childs head or get stuck in their hair. Doesn't look as nice but it still looks better than a big scratch that you have to explain to the parents!
