Perfect craft to last all winter long. Just leave it outside in the snow and whatch as it goes up and down.

What You Need:

A paint stir stick (I got some for free at a local paint store), paint in white and black, glue, sharpie, and a foam craft kit of what ever type you like ( I found snowmen to use as well).

What To Do:

Have the children paint the stir stick. I had them do one side black and one side white but use whatever colors you like as long as one side is light. When the paint is dry I made the 1 inch marking for the children and wrote the numbers for the younger children. They then put together their foam kit snowman or penguin and we glued it on top. It's best to put a clear coat sealer ontop of the paint or it will probably all wash away as the snow melts. Super cute for the children to use to observe the less and more aspect of the snow.
