A cute little decoration for dad for on his desk or out in the garden.
A clean - nicely shaped and smooth rock. What ever the child finds I guess would be perfect!
Some acrylic paints in as many colors as you want.
Paint brushes - (small ones work best for older children trying to do a design)
A sharpie
(I also like to add a final coat of a clear sealer just to make it really durable.)
Have the children find their perfect rock. I think fist size is perfect. Clean and dry the rock - they will love this part in some warm soapy water. Then have the children paint away! A few coats may be needed. When it's dry use the sharpie to write on the rock.... "Dad Rocks!" Then spray with the sealer and Voila!
