building mini-structures

What You Need: 

-small marshmallows, dried cranberries, or raisins
-toothpicks
-saltine crackers
-cardboard or paper plates

What To Do: 

-if your children are eating this afterwards, then wash hands first
-stick toothpicks into marshmallows (or cranberries/raisins) to make squares, cubes, triangles or other shapes onto the cardboard or paper plates
-crackers can be also used for floors, walls or doors

-for older children, competition can be set up, i.e., who can make the tallest building, most creative, etc.

-if keeping structures, marshmallows will dry out in a couple days & the structures can be painted
