Hi All...
My name is Val and I'm an Early Childhood Educator and an Infant/Toddler Educator. I currently work at Daycare Connection (in the David Lloyd Jones Home). I work with 2 other ECE staff and an assistant staff. We have sixteen 3-5 year olds and we interact with the seniors that live in the home. I'm a mom to a wonderful 4 1/2 year old boy named Zach and I'm an aunt to a wonderful 4 1/2 year old boy named Cohen. When I actually have some "ME" time, I really enjoy going to the movies (even though it's very expensive), window shopping at the mall, watching weird shows on the discovery channel and eating out!!!
I love living in Kelowna, and I think that the ECE community is amazing!!! I like meeting new people and sharing ideas and I'm going to get that opportunity in the new year with the City of Kelowna...more to come on that soon!!! I think that this website is very neat and I can't wait to be part of it's evolution!!!
